Twenty Essex is very pleased to welcome Sarah Tresman back to Chambers with effect from today. Sarah has spent the past three years in the Cayman Islands as a litigation attorney with top tier offshore law firm, Walkers, and returns to London to pursue her career at the commercial Bar.
Sarah began her career as a pupil at Twenty Essex. As a highly successful junior, she has built a strong practice focusing on insolvency, fraud and asset tracing, providing legal advice to global corporations, financial institutions, capital markets participants and investment fund managers. Sarah has vast experience responding to interim injunctions, securing Norwich Pharmacal relief, and anti-suit injunctions. She also has a specialist interest in Saudi law.
Duncan Matthews QC, co-head of Twenty Essex, says: “We are very glad to welcome Sarah back to Chambers on her return to the UK. She was an outstanding and highly-regarded junior before she left. Since then, her direct experience in an offshore jurisdiction together with her in-depth knowledge of Cayman Islands law will stand her in excellent stead, particularly in fraud and insolvency work, which will greatly complement the strength of other members of Twenty Essex practising in these areas.”
Sarah says: “I am delighted to be returning to Twenty Essex at what is a very exciting time for Chambers. My experience over the last three years at Walkers, a top tier law firm in the Cayman Islands, means I am now uniquely placed to assist clients in offshore matters. I am looking forward to developing this aspect of my practice at Twenty Essex, together with civil fraud and insolvency work.”
