Monica Feria-Tinta features among 64 distinguished women barristers in a celebratory exhibition of a century of women in Law at the Middle Temple. The exhibition marks 100 years since women were permitted to enter the legal profession in England & Wales, led by Helena Normanton, the first woman to practise as a barrister in England.
Monica was selected from a membership of 8000 women Middle Templers, 160 of which are Benchers, amongst whom are several High Court judges, and a Court of Appeal judge.
Monica is a specialist in public international law. She is the youngest Middle Temple member to be included in the selection.
The exhibition is open to all and is running from Monday 2 September 2019 to Friday 31 January 2020. It has been well-received, with press coverage from the Financial Times and The Times.
