Leading arbitration practitioner Philippa Charles to join Twenty Essex

We are excited to announce that Philippa Charles will be joining Chambers on 1 February 2023 as a full-time arbitrator.

Philippa is a renowned, Hall of Fame directory-ranked practitioner with over 20 years of experience in proceedings before major arbitral institutions. She has been Head of International Arbitration at Stewarts since 2013 during which time she has built a strong reputation leading teams in arbitration, related court proceedings, mediation and other ADR formats.

Philippa has significant experience sitting as arbitrator under ICC, LCIA, SIAC, SCC, AAA-ICDR, and FAI rules as chair, sole and party-appointee, as well as in ad hoc proceedings. She is also a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR.
