The latest issue of the Journal of International Banking Law and Regulation (JIBLR Volume 33 Issue 2 2018) is out and it contains an article authored by Monica Feria-Tinta and Alistair Wooder, titled “Sovereign Debt Enforcement in English Courts: Ukraine and Russia meet in the Court of Appeal in US $3 Billion Eurobonds Dispute”.
The authors examine the public international law and banking law issues raised in Law Debenture Trust Corp plc v Ukraine [2017] EWHC 655 (Comm), one of the most important cases featuring international law currently pending before English Courts, soon to be heard by the Court of Appeal.
