The “DIFC Courts Practice” book is now available. The book is the official companion to the rules of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and guiding authority on the practice and procedure of the Courts of the DIFC.
The publication contains an introduction to the Court, now recognised as a leading international commercial court, and its jurisdiction. In addition, the book provides a survey of recent developments of DIFC law and expert commentary on the rules and their applications.
With the endorsement of the DIFC Courts, the guide was written by a team of leading experts. Contributors include Harris Bor of Twenty Essex who has extensive experience appearing before the Court of First Instance and Court of Appeal at the DIFC. Other contributors include James Weale (Serle Court), Gregor Hogan (Serle Court), Matthew Watson (XXIV Old Buildings), Jonathan McDonagh (Serle Court), and Dan McCourt Fritz (Serle Court).
The book was edited by Rupert Reed QC (Serle Court) and Tom Montagu-Smith QC (XXIV Old Buildings).
