Last week saw the launch of FIRE Starters, a global initiative aimed at bringing together rising stars in the asset recovery sphere.
The initiative comes out of ThoughtLeaders4 FIRE, a community of practitioners working across contentious insolvency, fraud litigation and international enforcement work.
The FIRE Starters community will run informative panel sessions and networking events, covering the most pertinent and current issues affecting asset recovery. The first event, a virtual event titled “FIRE Starters: Hot Topics in the New World Order”, takes place on Wednesday 29 April 2020. Sam Goodman will be speaking on “Recalcitrant defendants during the Covid-19 outbreak”.
Sam Goodman is one of the founding committee members, along with Jon Felce (PCB Litigation), Nathalie Ker (Skrine, Malaysia), Sam Ouriach (Grant Thornton), Emma Ruane (Peters & Peters), Benoit Mauron (Lalive, Switzerland), Joana Rego (Raedas) and Keith Han (Clifford Chance, Singapore).
