We are very pleased to announce the appointment of Penelope Nevill to the Attorney General’s B Panel of Civil Counsel and Belinda McRae to the C Panel.
Barristers from Twenty Essex are currently represented across all Attorney General’s Civil (A, B and C) and Public International Law panels: Julie Anderson, Angharad Parry, Simon Milnes, Tom Leary, Kate Parlett, John Bethell and Philippa Webb.
Members of the Attorney General’s panels are instructed to advise and represent Her Majesty’s Government in all areas of legal work, including the most high-profile government litigation.
Penelope is a specialist in international law and focuses on disputes and transactional advice across a range of areas, including public international law, EU law, public law and human rights and commercial disputes raising questions of international and EU law.
Belinda has developed an impressive and diverse commercial practice with particular specialisations in private international law, public international law and international arbitration. Belinda is also currently on the Public International Law panel.
Both appointments will take effect from 1 September 2020 for a term of five years.
