Professor David Caron has been appointed as Dean of The Dickson Poon School of Law at King’s College London He assumes the newly established position with effect from mid-2013.
The appointment follows a £20m donation by Mr Dickson Poon CBE as part of the launch of the School’s scholarship programme (which is the largest ever Law scholarship programme in Europe). The School’s aim is to build its reputation as one of the country’s top law schools and to set new standards in legal education and research. A key strategic focus will be to establish the School as a leader in the broad area of transnational law.
