20 Essex Street is delighted to announce the appointment of Thomas Leary to the Welsh Government B Panel for public law. The appointment is for an initial period of four years and reflects Chambers’ long-standing expertise in public, constitutional and human rights work. Tom is one of the most junior barristers to be appointed to the B Panel this year. This is an achievement that reflects the up and coming status that he has built in this increasingly important practice area.
The Counsel General for Wales commented that: ‘the very experienced and talented Counsel who have been successful in being appointed to the Panel will give the Welsh Government access to an independent pool of considerable legal expertise and experience across the breadth of Welsh Government activity’.
