Twenty Essex celebrates success in Who’s Who Legal Arbitration 2022

Five of our outstanding barristers have been featured as “Future Leaders” in the Who’s Who Legal Arbitration 2022 guide, released earlier this week. The guide highlights specific individuals for their outstanding arbitrator and counsel work across a broad range of international proceedings.

Belinda McRae, who specialises in private international law, public international law and international arbitration, is described as “a superb practitioner” with “a sharp eye for the issues that matter most in complex arbitration cases”. Dr Kate Parlett is also a specialist in public international law and international arbitration, and is mentioned as being distinguished by “her leading expertise in contract disputes and investment treaty arbitration”. Manuel Casas, a 2021 new tenant of Twenty Essex, is referred to as “a fantastic attorney with a brilliant mind and exceptional skills” with “a remarkable understanding of public international law”. David Lewis QC and Professor Philippa Webb have also been listed as Future Leaders for 2022.

We are also proud to see both Judith Gill QC and Wendy Miles QC listed as “Global Elite Thought Leaders”.

Overall, Twenty Essex has many members recommended in the guide and is positioned on the leaderboard for the highest number of listings Who’s Who Legal Arbitration 2022.
